1. About these terms

Crew Film UK is a trading name of Mobmodz Limited (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 11328121. VAT no. GB500025370. These terms apply when you use crewfilmuk.co.uk and the Crew Film UK app (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over and give accurate details. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Your username is shown to other members. Your department choice is permanent for department chats and forums.

3. Subscription, trial and cancelling

Membership is 5 days free, then £4.99 a month, billed by Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Account → Manage subscription; cancelling stops future payments and access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

4. Information in the app

Rates, agreements, studio, hotel, supplier, training and other information is compiled from official and public sources for general guidance only. It may be out of date or incomplete. Always check with the organisation, your union or your employer before relying on it. It is not legal, financial or tax advice.

5. Member content

You are responsible for anything you post — forum messages, jobs, reviews, marketplace listings and Showcase films. Only post content you have the right to share. You keep ownership of your content and give Crew Film UK permission to display it to members within the service. Follow the Community guidelines. We may hide or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these terms or the guidelines.

6. Marketplace, jobs and partner offers

Buying, selling, hiring and bookings are between members, or between you and the business. Crew Film UK is not a party to those deals and does not check items, people or payments. Partner discounts and links are offered by third parties on their own terms.

6a. Referral scheme

Members can share a personal referral link. If someone signs up through your link (or enters your code when they join), and they go on to become a paying member after their free trial, you earn one free month of membership. The referral must be recorded when the new member creates their account. You can't refer yourself or an existing or former member, and only one referrer is credited per new member. A free month is applied to your Crew Film UK subscription as a credit equal to one month's membership fee; it has no cash value and can't be transferred. If a referred member's payment is refunded or charged back, or we find misuse such as fake or duplicate accounts, we may cancel the reward. We may change or end the scheme at any time; rewards already earned before a change will still be honoured.

7. Third-party services

Some features open or embed other services, such as Stripe, YouTube, Vimeo, maps and partner websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

8. Liability

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for losses caused by relying on information in the service or by dealings between members, except where the law does not allow us to exclude liability (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell members in the app or by email before they take effect.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
