Runner/trainee attached to Graphics: prints, collections and set dressing support — UK Graphics grade; confirm title on the call sheet and deal memo.

Duties

• Read the call sheet and sides before arriving
• Maintain radio/set etiquette and H&S
• Hand over notes/kit status at wrap
• Print shop runs and collections
• Assist mounting and labelling
• Set runs for graphics team
• Learn file naming and H&S

Graphics Supervisor / Assistant

Graphics Runner / Trainee → Graphics Assistant

Day to day

Collect prints; label envelopes; help dress boards/signage; learn file naming; never invent copy on hero props.

Call times

Mostly prep in the graphics room; attend set when dressing hero graphics or screens. Overnight print and clearance rushes before shoot days are common — check the graphics schedule against unit call.

What to wear

Smart-casual in prep; blacks when dressing on set; clean hands for hero paper props.

Tools & kit

Laptop, calibrated screen where possible, colour-accurate print checks, radio on set days.
