Production Runner

Entry-level production support in office or on set — UK Production grade; confirm title on the call sheet and deal memo.

Duties

• Read the call sheet and sides before arriving
• Maintain radio/set etiquette and H&S
• Hand over notes/kit status at wrap
• Errands
• Tea/coffee and set support
• Photocopying and distributions

Reports to

Coordinator / PM / Base AD as assigned

Production office, AD team, all depts for runs

Day to day

Runs, collections, tea/coffee cultures as briefed, photocopying, airport runs — learn radio etiquette and confidentiality.

Call times

Production office often opens earlier than unit; coordinators hit call-sheet deadlines the night before. Runners may open base early. Night shoots flip office cover — check the sheet.

What to wear

Smart-casual in office; blacks if on set; weather layers for location runs; comfortable shoes for long days.

Tools & kit

Phone, notepad, chargers; clean driving licence often required.
