Stunt Performer

Performs stunt action under the Coordinator on UK film/TV under the Stunt Coordinator’s H&S lead.

Duties

• Read the call sheet and sides before arriving
• Maintain radio/set etiquette and H&S
• Hand over notes/kit status at wrap
• Perform rehearsed stunts
• Maintain fitness and tickets
• Follow Coordinator safety brief
• Double cast as required

Coordinator, Fight Arranger, Riggers, Costume/HMU, Medics

Equity/Bectu pathway / trainee → Stunt Performer

Day to day

Rehearse safely; perform takes; communicate injuries immediately; protect doubles continuity with Costume/HMU.

Call times

Rehearsal and rigging are often well before unit call. Performance follows the sequence call; wrap after safe de-rig.

What to wear

Blacks or costume as briefed; PPE/harness as required; pads under costume; soft shoes for rehearsal halls.

Tools & kit

Personal pads/kit as performers use; Coordinator: radio, RA paperwork, rehearsal video.
