Action Vehicles Coordinator

Coordinates picture/action vehicles with stunts, props and transport — UK Transport grade; confirm title on the call sheet and deal memo.

Duties

• Read the call sheet and sides before arriving
• Maintain radio/set etiquette and H&S
• Hand over notes/kit status at wrap
• Source and schedule action vehicles
• Liaise Stunts / Props / Art
• On-set vehicle movement safety
• Returns and damage logging

Reports to

Transport Captain / 1st AD / Prop Master as briefed

Works with

Stunts, Props, Picture vehicle owners, Camera, Locations

Day to day

Schedule picture cars; drivers/wranglers; continuity of vehicles; safety with Stunts/Camera; returns.

Call times

Drivers commonly pre-call for cast pickups and truck moves. Facilities may overnight on location. Read the transport memo — it is separate from unit call.

What to wear

Smart-casual or blacks as briefed; hi-vis when banksman/marshalling; weather layers; compliant footwear for yards.

Tools & kit

Valid licences as required, phone/mount, vehicle checks checklist, hi-vis.
