Wireless video & RF on UK sets
Zero-delay wireless video (e.g. Teradek Bolt 6 with UK/EU 6 GHz channels, and newer Bolt 7 video-plus-data systems) is standard on many UK shoots, but RF congestion still kills video. Coordinate channels with sound, lighting (including LED wireless), and other TX before you go up. Use the manufacturer spectrum tools, keep clear line of sight, and note that 6 GHz expands usable channels when firmware and kit support it. If production adds camera control or colour over a dedicated data radio (as on Bolt 7), confirm who owns pairing and failover. Always check local spectrum rules and the production’s RF plan.
